Friendship & Respect

DCU students both past and present were out in force last weekend. Dublin ladies had a good win v Mayo with Jennifer Dunne and Niamh Hetherton both scoring goals for the sky blues, congrats to Meath ladies on advancing to the div 2 final and the photo above shows Aoibhin Cleary and Ciara Finnegan together at the final whistle.

In mens football Kildare gained promotion and DCU were well represented with Kevin Flynn, Alex Beirne & Darragh Kirwan all on display, elsewhere Dublin beat Donegal with Sigerson Cpt Brendan McCole on the losing side and Paddy Small scoring 1-3 for the victors.

In hurling Wexford v Dublin pitting a lot of DCU students into against each other Rory O'Connor hitting 3pts for the winners, Donal Burke hitting 1-10 for Dublin and congrats to Eoghan O'Donnell for making the team of the week.

in camogie Kilkenny earned a place in the league final with a 2pt victory over Tipperary congrats to Niamh Deely, Michelle Teehan and all the girls and best of luck in the final
