Kickstart Application

The KickStart Scholarship is now closed for 2023/24.

The KickStart Scholarship has been established by the Probation Service and supported by the Irish Prison Service, to support persons with a criminal justice history who are experiencing socio-economic disadvantage to access Higher Education (HE). These scholarships meet a strategic objective of the Working to Change Social Enterprise and Employment Strategy 2021-2023

Your information will be stored, secured and remain strictly private and confidential, accessible only to those evaluating the application for the purpose of assessing your eligibility for the KickStart Scholarship.

• If your application progresses, you may be asked to provide supporting documentation. You are strongly encouraged to begin gathering supporting documentation by referring to this checklist as soon as you decide to apply, as they may take up to a month to gather. For your security, do not send any of your supporting documentation by email.
