Cash or Card National Payment Strategy (NPS) Consultation

The National Payment Strategy sets out a roadmap for payments to 2030. Three key elements of consideration include: 

*developments in digital payments 
*cash –how it is used 
*Changes – what changes should be made to the legislative criteria relating to access to cash

The strategy is a comprehensive document with several sections under 4 Pillars.

A consultation was held with AFU participants on Thursday, February 8, to inform a submission from DCU AFU and reflect the views of participants attending the AFU programme. 

Some really interesting points of view were expressed and recorded. Many thanks to all who contributed to the meeting and by email.
