Ahead Multiplier Event

The AHEAD Multiplier Event is transnational conference, organised with the purpose of disseminating the project results produced by the project:

Project Results

  1. In this output, participants from each partner institution were involved in co-creation workshops and surveys to develop insights into teachers' and learners' digital transformation needs.
  2. A competency framework for teachers and learners in health care education in the field of digital assessment was developed.
  3. Micro-learning units were created to enhance teacher and learner competencies and assisted in the integration of digital assessments into their teaching and learning practices.
  4. In this output, project partners developed a digital rubric and peer assessment where students could provide peer feedback on a video-recorded skill. Students were empowered to become involved in assessment and to impact the grade awarded to learners for a healthcare-related skill.
  5. A video-based assessment using Artificial Intelligence and including an open source digital badge as evidence of achievement was developed and tested within this project.
New standards and requirements on digital health competencies for nursing and midwifery education programmes - Carolyn Donohue as part of AHEAD Project Multiplier Event
PR02 - Digicom framework
Presenters: Germany (Hanse Institut Oldenburg)

In this project result, we developed a self-assessment tool based on the EU DigCompEdu Framework for teachers and learners to assess their digital competencies. The presentation will outline the key elements and showcase the tool.

PR03 - Mico-learning units
Presenters: Germany (Hanse Institut Oldenburg)

This presentation on Project Result 3 reflects on the development of micro-learning units and the website og learning resources. Findings from the co- creation stage (PR 1) and the needs analysis of IO2 informed this project result.
PR04 - Digital Peer Assessment
Presenters: Georgia (Illia State University)

Within this project result, we developed digital rubrics for peer assessment. We encouraged peers to become active assessors of video-recorded skills using a digital assessment toolkit including a rubric and online resources, which will be presented.
PR05 - Digital AI Hand Washing technology
Presenters: Ireland (Dublin City University)

Within this project result, experts from nursing, computing and the Teaching Enhancement Unit worked together to create a video-based hand washing assessment AI technology. The process of development and testing are described.
