Dr. Jenny Lawler
Dr. Jenny Lawler holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from UCD and a PhD in membrane separations from DCU.
Her current research interests are focused on mathematical simulation of bioprocesses, with a particular interest in membrane separations.
She comes to the Environmental Technologies group from an industrial background, having previously worked as a chemical engineering consultant on a variety of multimillion euro projects including a pilot scale clinical trials facility for Wyeth (Pfizer) and a sterile vaccines and biologics facility for Merck Sharpe and Dohme.
She is the Programme Chair of the MSc in Bioprocess Engineering at DCU.
She heads the Bioprocess Modelling and Optimation research group in the School of Biotechnology.
