Dr. Greg Foley is a chemical engineer with BE and PhD degrees from University College Dublin, Ireland and an MS degree in polymer science from Cornell University.
He was previously the Jacobs International Newman Scholar in the School of Chemical Engineering, University College Dublin.
He has supervised numerous PhD and MSc projects in the general area of membrane separation processes and has published more than 25 papers in international journals, including 10 in the prestigious Journal of Membrane Science.
His current research interests are in nanofiltration and ultrafiltration and his work involves a combination of experimental and mathematical modelling approaches. His interest in modelling extends to the use of artificial neural networks for prediction of membrane performance.
