Director of the European Environment Agency, Hans Bruyninckx, launches the Climate & Society conference

In 2019, centre members held a successful one-day conference on social science and humanities perspectives on Ireland’s response to the climate crisis.

Hans Bruyninckx, director of the European Environment Agency (the EU’s EPA) spoke at the conference about the need for these perspectives in efforts to tackle climate change.
