Inclusive Employment: Creating Awareness in Work Webinar

Since its launch on the 3rd December in 2018, the DCU Ability project has worked with young people with disabilities to gain work based skills and experience to move them closer to work with the ultimate ambition of gaining employment.

To mark International Day of People with Disabilities on Thursday, December 3rd, DCU Ability, with the support of the DCU Centre of Diversity and Inclusion, will host the 'Inclusive Employment: Creating Awareness in Work' webinar from 1 pm - 2 pm.

The panel will include the Irish Wheelchair Association, AppleGreen, Pobal, and DCU, who will discuss their involvement in the creation of inclusive workplaces for employees. Moderated by Deirdre Corby, the panel will address what employers can do to create awareness and support people with disabilities.
