International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) lunchtime event hosted by DCU EDI Unit.

To mark IDAHOBIT, HR Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Unit invites you to this lunchtime event on Monday, 17th May at 1.00pm - 1.50pm.

We will explore what homophobia is, its impacts and how we can all take action to stop homophobia, biphobia, interphobia and transphobia in order to create a safe university community.

There will be short inputs from:

DCU's Anti Bullying Centre,
Certified Proud (an organisation that ensures its members operate under a set of guidelines which ensure equality, respect and dignity for LGBTQ+ employees and customers) and
DCU's Students Union.

The event will conclude with a panel discussion on practical ways that you can support LGBTQ+ people at DCU and be part of an inclusive culture built on dignity and respect.
