CAO: Learn about the BA in Jazz and Contemporary Music Performance

This course is the only music degree in the country specialising in improvisation and performance. So if you’re looking to develop your career as a professional musician, music teacher or producer, this course is definitely one to mark down on your CAO application before the 1st February 2022.

It will equip you with the skills to operate in a wide range of contemporary music areas, not just jazz. What also makes this degree unique is that it allows you to study non-classical music in a conservatory environment.

The BA in Jazz and Contemporary Music Performance at DCU is a four-year, full time Honours degree.
