DCU will welcome prospective students and their families to the Glasnevin and St. Patrick's Campuses on Saturday, 1st April for the Spring Open Day.

The doors of our campuses will be open from 10 am until 2 pm.

Here's what you can expect:

  • General talks: The general talks will take place throughout the day and will offer information specific to the DCU student experience as well as advice about university life in general that will benefit you wherever you decide to study.

  • Course presentations: Course presentations will cover details about the courses you are most interested in at DCU and provide the perfect opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Selected Schools within the Faculty of Science and Health will provide tours and/or demonstrations in the labs, skills centres, and atrium of the Lonsdale (X) Building and in the Nursing (H) Building.

Media facilities including the TV and Radio studios in the School of Communications and the language and translation laboratories in the School of Applied Language and Intercultural Studies will be open to visit for those who have registered to attend the subject talks.

The Faculty of Engineering and Computing will also be conducting a wide range of demonstrations in the Stokes (S) Building.

  • Campus tours: If you are considering studying at DCU, it is important that you get a feel for our campuses. They are wonderful places to study and could be your home from home for the next three or four years. The tours include student accommodation, our award-winning sports centre and the beautiful three-storey John and Aileen O’Reilly Library on Glasnevin Campus and the four-storey Cregan Library with its impressive views of Dublin on St. Patrick's Campus.

*Please note that specific tours of student accommodation will start from the Accommodation information stand.

The Spring Open Day guide lists the times for all tours and talks and will be made available closer to the event.

There will be free parking on both DCU Glasnevin and DCU St Patrick's campuses for the duration of the event.
