Choosing the Future
Choosing Our Future will run from Tuesday November 10th until Friday November 13th

Choosing our Future Public Forum

Join the conversation this Science Week

ADAPT and Science Foundation Ireland are calling on the Irish public this Science Week to participate in a mass public debate to have your voice heard on what we have learned from the COVID-19 pandemic. This is a unique opportunity for the public to inform how we would like our future to look.

The national public forum is headed up by Dr. Jane Suiter, her team at FuJo Institute and The Science Foundation Ireland (SFI ) ADAPT Centre for Digital Media Technology and AI.

Join the multidisciplinary experts who will initiate discussions on the future of healthcare, rejuvenating our towns and cities, transforming education, and how we bring about societal change in a post-COVID world.  Whether it is the realities of home working and studying, addressing misinformation or  harnessing technology to make our lives easier and healthier, this is your chance to shape how we emerge from this pandemic together and learn from our shared lived experience.

The Choosing our Future Public Forum will be open for participation on Tuesday 10th of November, with an opening address from Prof. Daire Keogh, President of DCU. Moderated discussions will run until Friday 13th.

The report from this forum will provide a comprehensive picture of the hopes of the Irish Public.
