Professor Daire Keogh

Daire Keogh is President of St Patrick’s College Drumcondra and Cregan Professor of Modern Irish History at DCU. He is a graduate of the National University of Ireland, Trinity College, the Gregorian University and Glasgow University.  He has published extensively, mainly on the history of popular politics, religion and education in Ireland. 

A founding member of the European Quality Assurance Register Committee (EQAR), the body charged by EU Governments with monitoring quality assurance in higher education, he is also a Council Member of the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment and a director of several educational trusts.

Daire is one of two St. Patrick’s College Drumcondra representatives on the Governing Authority.
