DCU Brand Guidelines and Assets
DCU’s Communications and Marketing team have overseen an effort to strengthen the communications strategy and develop tools and resources designed to assist us all in conveying a forward-looking story about Dublin City University's mission and impact.
Our department takes a digital-first approach to all projects, in line with best practices in the areas of user experience, accessibility and sustainability.
Anyone at Dublin City University who communicates on the University’s behalf should find this a helpful and inspiring resource.
Faculties and Schools should contact their Communications & Marketing officer / representative for guidance on design requests.
Here is a list of current contacts within each of the faculties:
- Faculty of Science and Health - Sharon Whyte
- DCUBS - Sarah Coleman / Ciara Feeney
- Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences - Sinéad Ní Chrualaoi & Carol Diamond
- Engineering and Computing - Áine Nolan
- IoE - Ursula Mhic Cártaigh
Each representative will then brief the design team and liaise on your behalf.
Units / Centres - requests should be submitted via a single nominated individual in order to better streamline projects. That nominated person should contact one of our graphic designers at email@example.com
When submitting a brief for a design or video project, please consider the following:
