COO's Functions & Roles

Governance 

The Chief Operations Officer (COO) is responsible for the management of the corporate and secretarial functions of the University, and for the oversight of legal functions and activities for both the University and its associated campus companies. The COO is the Secretary to the Governing Authority and the Office of the Chief Operations Officer provides administrative support to all Governing Authority Committees. Further information on the University's organisational and committee structures can be accessed at the links below.

Risk & Resilience

The Chief Operations Officer (COO) is responsible for the management of the University's risk management framework at the University Executive Board level. The day-to-day administration of the risk process within the framework is the responsibility of the Risk and Compliance Officer (RCO), who reports directly to the COO for risk management purposes.
