Academic biography

Louise Hopper is an Assistant Professor in the School of Psychology in Dublin City University (DCU). Louise coordinates and delivers courses in Psychology Research Skills on the BSc. in Psychology and the MSc. (Conversion) in Psychology courses, and the Critical Psychology and Wellbeing in the Community module on the MSc. Psychology and Wellbeing course. Louise is also the Chair of the School of Psychology Ethics Committee.

Louise is the Principal Investigator on a number of projects including the H2020 CAPTAIN project (e-coaching for older adults) and the National Dementia Registry Model Development (DoH, HSE funded) and a member of the Centre for eIntregrated Care (www.ceic.ie). She is also co-founder and co-chair of the Alzheimer Cafe Leixlip (www.alzheimercafeleixlip.ie).
