Additional Facilities for Examinations

The Examinations Office, in conjunction with the Disability & Learning Support Service, offers additional facilities during examinations, where appropriate, for students with a permanent or temporary disability.

Students who have a disability and who will require additional facilities during their examinations should initially contact the Disability & Learning Support Service (DLSS) who will liase with the Examinations Office with regard to the request. Students should refer to the DLSS webpage for information on submitting such requests, registering with the service and any associated deadlines.

Students that have a temporary disability at exam time, should contact the Examinations Office directly, if possible, at least seven days before their examinations commence. A student's request for additional provisions must be supported by a medical certificate.
