Academic biography

  

Zahra is a postdoctoral researcher in DCU School of Nursing, Psychotherapy, and Community Health working with Dr Rebecca Murphy on a HRB funded project entitled: Co-producing Actionable Knowledge to Strengthening Cultural Humility In Irish Mental Health Services. Before joining DCU, Zahra was a postdoctoral researcher in UCD school of psychology working on 3SET project on student mental health services. She completed her PhD in UCD school of psychology on experience of inclusion of Muslim migrant women and their children in Ireland and her master’s degree in clinical psychology in her home country, Iran.  Zahra’s research is focused on mental health, wellbeing, and inclusion of ethnic minoritized, migrants and youth population with a specific interest in development, evaluation, and improvement of mental health services.
