You have stood out from the crowd, stepped forward as a leader and are about to start an unforgettable journey running your Sports Club committee. You will do things you never thought possible,challenge yourself beyond belief, make friends for life, and develop skills you never knew you had. This section on Running Your Club will provide you with resources and information on clubs policies and procedures, as well as top tips to help you run your club effectively. There is also a team of dedicated staff and students in the Clubs & Societies Offices, DCU Sports & Wellbeing and the Club Life Committee to help you throughout the year whether you have a big or small idea, are faced with a challenge or need some support or guidance.

Alcohol Online Training
A new online training is available for students which explores the facts around alcohol consumption, alcohol and safety, and basic brief intervention skills.
The training is delivered over 4 online modules:
Module 1 looks at the facts and figures related to alcohol consumption and its impact on the individual and society at large.
Module 2 offers tips for students on staying safe if and when they do consume alcohol.
Module 3 offers useful tips on safety planning for events where alcohol may be consumed.
Module 4 outlines the basic skills used for brief interventions with the aim of empowering students to be able to talk to and offer information to their peers in relation to alcohol consumption.
The training takes approximately 40 minutes to complete and is available here
