Access Orientation 2025
Students entering DCU through the Higher Access Entry Route (HEAR) and the Access DCU Entry Route (ADER) must complete a one-day Access Orientation Programme.
Access Orientation details for 2025
DCU Access (HEAR) Orientation occurs the week before the main DCU Orientation. This year it will take place as follows.
- Students studying on St Patrick's Campus, Orientation: Thursday, 4th September 2025
- Students studying on the Glasnevin Campus, Orientation: Friday, 5th September 2025
What is the Access Orientation?
The primary aim of the Access Orientation Programme is to support students who entered DCU through the HEAR entry route in adapting to the third-level learning environment. The programme emphasises building friendships, familiarising oneself with the DCU campus, getting to know the DCU Access staff, and exploring all the support the university provides.
