Academic biography

Colette began working in the DCU Access Service in the year 2000 as the administrator for the Service, in 2008 she moved in to the role of post-entry support officer, responsible for the retention and progression of students entering DCU through the Higher Education Access Route (HEAR) and as Senior Access Officer, Colette has managed the Post-Entry support team since 2018.

Colette graduated from DCU with a B.A. Education and Training in 2010, has undertaken training in other areas such as Neuro Linguistic Programming, Counselling skills & Facilitation skills and completed a diploma in Executive and Life Coaching with the Positive Success Group in Dublin.

In 2020, Colette completed her Masters degree in Work and Organisational Psychology/Behaviour at DCU.

Colette is a member of the national HEAR practitioners group and the Post-Entry Access Network group.
