The U First programme supports and upskills 5th & 6th year students from our linked schools who show the motivation and commitment to achieve their academic potential and aspire to go to university.
In 2023-24, 5th year students will be required to attend three monthly workshops & participate in a shadowing day in March'24. A number of other events will also be organised throughout the year.
You must be in 5th Year and intend to complete the Irish Leaving Certificate.
You must intend on taking at least two higher level subjects, at least ordinary level maths, and have a genuine interest in finding out more about college.
If you are in Foster Care or under the care of Tusla (the Child and Family Agency) or are a member of the Traveller Community, we will welcome your application even if you do not meet the criteria above.
