Dr Elizabeth Yuko

Ethics of Artificial Wombs

Elizabeth obtained a BA in Political Science from The College of Wooster (USA), prior to completing an MA in International Security and Conflict Studies and an LLM at Dublin City University. Both her MA and LLM dissertations were on the subject of human trafficking laws and policies in Europe.

Professionally, Elizabeth has worked as a legal researcher and journalist, as well as on various aspects of political campaigns in both the United States and Ireland. Elizabeth's dissertation addresses the question of whether the further development of artificial wombs is ethically desirable. Elisabeth Yuko completed her PhD in 2012. She currently works at Fordham University, New York City, USA.
