Ethics of Contributor Role Ontologies and Taxonomies

Mohammad worked as a PhD researcher on the EnTIRE project. He acquired a Master’s degree in Applied Ethics from Utrecht university. During his graduate program, he had successful collaborations regarding scientific authorship practices with several international research groups including PRINTEGER and METRICS.

As a PhD researcher, Mohammad was involved in collecting, curating and developing resources for the Embassy of Good Science platform. His PhD thesis entitled "Ethics of Contributor Role Ontologies and Taxonomies" focused on the ethics of scholarly authorship and explored innovative methods of attribution of credit and responsibilities in scholarly collaborations. Mohammad won the DCU president's award for innovation in 2021. 

His academic interests include studying codes of conduct in terms of comprehensibility for users, publication ethics, moral analysis and virtue ethics. Besides academic interests, Mohammad has extensive international experiences in business development and marketing consultancy through his entrepreneurial activities. He completed his PhD in 2021.
