DCU Graduate Studies Office is happy to be able to provide you with additional digital services aimed at helping you complete your doctoral or master's studies quickly and efficiently. All research students in DCU now have access to DoctoralNet, an online support tool to help you work through your research degree. You will have received an email from our partner organisation, DoctoralNet, detailing the service proivided and noting your username and password. If you registered after 15 January 2019 then you will not have access yet. If that's the case email email@example.com and he will let you know when to expect your access to be resolved.
At the beginning you will also receive two emails outlining the services provided. Note that even if you had this service last year, this is a new registration and you will receive these reminders again. DoctoralNet will be sending you personalised emails (you will receive on average four a month), highlighting upcoming webinars and/or tools that are known to be useful during your current research phase. We understand, however, that you do not need these support all the time so anyone who wants to personalise the emails they receive can do so by signing into the accounts section on the website. There are also Apple and Android apps available to you through the site to help you find the graduate resources you need.
DoctoralNet have developed an orientation video that outlines how to use the platform. You can access that video here: https://youtu.be/_y24wWvdqU0
We hope that you find the tool to be useful and that it provides some help in your research planning. If at any stage you have any feedback about this support please do email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
