PGR Orientation and Navigating Through Your Research

Dr Joseph Stokes, Dean of Graduate Studies will deliver a session on how to plan your research degree at DCU. The session will look at:

• Student relationship with the supervisor and supervisory panel
• Roles and Responsibilities for student, supervisor, head of school, executive dean of faculty and administrators
• Planning out the first year of the research degree
• Progress monitoring
• Processes that students will engage with during their research career 
• Graduate training
• Research output

The session is primarily aimed at new research students but it may prove useful for those who have not attended the session before or wish to recap.
