Main Restaurant
The main restaurant is a social hub where students and staff can avail of breakfast, lunch and snacks. It’s very affordable and provides many cuisine options for all dietary needs.
Starbucks
Starbucks is located conveniently on the ground floor of DCU Sport for those in need of a hot drink, smoothie, or snack throughout the day.
The NuBar in the Student Centre
The bar is located in the heart of The U building, the new student centre. NuBar houses fun and friendly staff and a lively events programme and provides employment for DCU students. At the NuBar, they like to have a good time and want you to join in! The NuBar offers a wide range of hot and cold drinks with a great, affordable food menu. There are two pool tables and a beer garden where they have BBQs when the weather is nice. There are also screens spread throughout the venue where you can watch the latest sporting fixtures in style. The NuBar is the perfect place to chill out from your studies, watch a match, catch up with your mates or throw a class party. There’s always a good vibe and you’ll soon be addicted to the world renowned “Nubar goujons”.
Our on-campus (Glasnevin) crèche, Magic Days, provides day-care service for the infants and young children of students and staff. You can find out more about the creche on the DCU website or on the crèche’s Facebook page.
The Interfaith Centre on Glasnevin campus support faith-based development.

Our multi-purpose venue on the Glasnevin campus offers a mix of music, drama and entertainment. Discounted rates are offered to staff.

The Londis shop on the Glasnevin campus is located in the U Student Centre. Find out more on their Facebook page
The Glasnevin Campus is located right beside Albert College Park. The park includes parkland walks, playing pitches for soccer and GAA, and a playground. Find out more on the Dublin City Council website. The National Botanic Gardens are a 30-minute walk or 10 minute bus ride away.
Comprehensive facilities and activities are available on both Glasnevin and St Patrick’s campuses.
