*IMPORTANT*
If you joined the university after the 26th of September 2025 please complete all tasks in the Thrive Hub dashboard on the Core Portal to finalise your employee record and process your salary. This information is required for banking and Revenue purposes, and incorrect details will cause a delay in your pay. Checklist
Contract Submission 
Action: Review and sign your contact that you will receive from DCU People Services, sent via Docusign.
Instructions:
- Review: Open and read the email and click the "Review Document" button.
- Sign: Follow the on-screen prompts to read and electronically sign the document. (No DocuSign account is required.)
- Finish: Once you are done, click the "Finish" button
A fully signed copy will automatically be sent to you for your records and returned to DCU People.

Get Paid - Payroll Setup via the Core Thrive Hub 
Your Personal and Pay Information
Please visit the Thrive Hub dashboard on the Core Portal and complete all tasks in your personalised checklist to finalise your employee record and process your salary. This information is required for banking and Revenue purposes, and incorrect details will cause a delay in your pay.
How It Works: Your Personal Checklist
When you visit the Thrive Hub, the first thing you'll see is your personal checklist. This is your action plan.
Here’s how to use it:
- Click "Start" to begin any outstanding task.
- Follow the prompts—the system will guide you through each step.
- Click "Complete" to finish. Your task will then be saved in your "Completed" tab for your records.
Note: All tasks must be completed in order to ensure payment.

Staff Access Card 
Staff ID Cards are issued daily at DCU Main Reception between the following times:
9.00 a.m. - 5.30 pm
ID Card requirements for new members of Staff
New staff upload their own photo to their Core portal page and then email reception@dcu.ie quoting their eight digit staff ID number to request printing of their staff ID card.
Access to Employee Services

What You Can Do:
- View and update personal details.
- Access payslips and leave requests.
- Submit training module enrollments.
- Instructions:
- Use this link to log in: https://my.corehr.com/pls/coreportal_dcup.
Credentials Needed:
- DCU Username, Password, and Email Address.
- Returning Staff: If you know your credentials, there's no need to contact IT Support. Otherwise please contact DTS.
- New Staff: Your details will be sent to your personal email address.

Contact IT support for login or technical issues at DCU DTS.
Part-Time Info (If Applicable) 
Action: Submit part-time claims via CorePortal.
Claims must be submitted within 2 weeks of completing your employment contract.
Timeline: Claims received before the 15th of the month will be processed in the current payroll cycle.
Process: Submit part-time claims via CorePortal. More information is available here.
