DCU Staff Account Information
If you are new member of staff, all the information regarding your new staff account can be found here
Staff members that retire from DCU are entitled to keep the following;
- DCU Email address
- Loop Access (limit of 4 year moving archive)
- Library access
- Core Payslips
- Eduroam
- Option for personal purchase of IT devices/software - note this is run by the HEAnet (not DCU): see link to HEAnet store
They are not entitled to the following;
- DCU Staff mailing list
- Network Drives
- PC/Laptop/Printer/Software support
Note: Staff that leave DCU by any other means than retirement are NOT entitled to keep an active DCU network account and email address.

DCU accounts are active for 6 weeks after the contract end date of a staff member to allow them access payslips and prevent a disruption of service in the case of new contracts being processed. Temporary staff must contact HR to have their new/extended contract entered into the system.
ISS do not facilitate the bulk export of all emails from DCU staff accounts as it is expected that all staff email accounts contain DCU data including data that falls within the scope of data protection legislation. Please use the six week grace period to forward any personal emails to your own personal account.
In exceptional circumstances where a staff member has left DCU but needs to keep access to their DCU email account for a limited period of time, they will need to be registered as DCU Visitors by their faculty. Please see the DCU Visitors/Non-Staff Accounts page.
Non-DCU staff accounts are disabled immediately upon reaching the end date on the HR system.
To change the password for your ITS account, please log a ticket.
Please have your staff number ready for security, please provide a contact number that the details can be texted to. Passwords and other sensitive information cannot be shared over the ticketing system or via email for data protection and security reasons
Agresso passwords can only be reset by the Finance department.
