Academic biographyDr John Quinn is an Assistant Professor of Law who began lecturing at the School of Law and Government in 2013/2014. He is a graduate of NUI Galway (BCL 2009, LLM 2011), Dublin City University (PhD, 2015) and was called to the bar as a New York Attorney-at-Law in 2013. John teaches Company Law to undergraduates and Contemporary Legal Issues in Commercial Practice to students of the LLM programme.
John was previously an adjunct lecturer at the Quinn School of Business at University College Dublin, he has worked as a consultant for the Law Reform Commission and currently holds an external examiner appointment at the University of Limerick.
His research focuses on all areas of corporate law, including corporate crime and corporate social responsibility. He has published in the Journal of Corporate Law Studies, International Company and Commercial Law Review, European Company Law and contributes to the Annual Review of Irish Law (Roundhall).
