Gëzim Visoka is Lecturer in Peace and Conflict Studies at Dublin City University. Dr Visoka’s research focuses on post-conflict peacebuilding, international statebuilding and reconstruction, global governance, European foreign policy, transitional justice, and foreign policy of small states. His most recent books are: 'Peace Figuration after International Intervention: Intentions, Events and Consequences of Liberal Peacebuilding' (Routledge, 2016), ‘Shaping Peace in Kosovo: The Politics of Peacebuilding and Statehood’ (Palgrave Macmillan, 2017), and the forthcoming 'Acting like a State: Kosovo and the Everyday Politics of Statehood' (Routledge, 2018). Dr Visoka has published his work in the Journal of Common Market Studies, Foreign Policy Analysis, International Peacekeeping, Civil Wars, Journal of Intervention and Statebuilding, Peacebuilding, East European Politics, and Journal of Human Rights Practice. Dr Visoka has over ten years experience working with civil society in Kosovo, UN agencies, and foreign policy consultancy.
