Promoting Innovation for reliable and efficient provision and treatment of water

waterTech was established in 2013 in the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at Dublin City University (DCU) to incorporate and strengthen research in water technologies. Its over-riding strategic objective is to promote research and innovations to support the development of safe, reliable and energy efficient drinking and waste water infrastructures. Current and past research projects have been supported through competitive funding awards from Non-Governmental Organisations, Science Foundation Ireland (SFI), the Irish Research Council (IRCSET) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as well as industrial partnerships for example with Sulzer Pumps and JFC or in collaboration with the QUESTOR centre.
