Call for Expressions of Interest for Governing Authority Membership (2025-2030)

Dublin City University is calling for expressions of interest for the six external members of its Governing Authority.The existing term of office of its Governing Authority expires in July this year.

The DCU Governing Authority, chaired by the Chancellor of the University, is charged with the overall governance of the University in accordance with the Universities Act 1997. The Authority serves a four year term and meets at least six times a year.

Good governance is central to the effective operation of the University and it requires that a framework of structures, policies, and processes is in place to achieve the desired outcomes. Accordingly the Governing Body of the University is responsible for ensuring that good governance, conduct, management, and accountability arrangements are in place.
