2. Research Highlights:

• DCU Psychology rises in QS World University Rankings by Subject, moving from 301-330 to 251-300, ranking 4^th in Ireland
• PhD Psychology students Isobel Walsh and Chloe Green secure enterprise partnered research projects in Research Ireland scheme
• Prof Pamela Gallagher - School of Psychology, recognised by Research Ireland for contribution to research community
• Psychology of addiction researcher, Dr. Catherine Fassbender appeared alongside Dr. Brian Pennie on the RTÉ docuseries Hooked: How Addiction Hijacks the Brain
• Dr. Richard Lombard Vance and Dr. Lisa Fitzgerald awarded the British Neuropsychological Society's Registered-reports Startup Grant
• Dr. Aoife Fitzpatrick selected to represent female researchers at the North South Ministerial Council’s Trade and Business Development Sectoral Meeting.

• Adam Daly’s (PhD Candidate) research on therapeutic tattooing for cancer survivors recently featured the TheJournal.ie.

   

3. Teaching Highlights:

• DCU School of Psychology is delighted to announce the launch of a new part-time, flexible, and fully online undergraduate programme, the Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology.
• David McGovern and Jake Tiernan nominated for the Presidents Awards for Excellence in Teaching at Dublin City University.

• Emma Duignan (3rd Year DCU Psychology Student)is First Place Winner in the Loop Reflect Student Showcase & Awards

   

4. Public Outreach Highlights:

• Patricia Cross (BAPY student) and Ciara Buckley (Postgraduate researcher) were nominated in the Student Category for the President's Awards for Engagement.
• Thanks to Dr. Orla Ni Mhaonaigh for her dedication and invaluable contribution to the DCU in the Community Initiative.
• Dr. Darragh McCashin contributed to the WorldWise Global Schools panel session on Online Harms and Disinformation
• Success at the Tell It Straight Competition: Jake Tiernan Wins, Deirbhle Nic An Aoire Runner-Up, with Finalists Jane Gaffey and Avril Deegan
