SEMESTER ONE

CHANGE OF MODULE PERIOD 

12pm, Monday, 26th September to 4pm Friday, 30th September

Changes to your optional Semester 1 and Year Long modules, can be made free of charge through the following link under 'My Details' from 12pm, 26th September 2022 until  4pm Friday, 30th September //www.dcu.ie/studentapps

Students cannot make changes to Core modules.  No further module changes to Semester 1 or Year Long modules  modules will be permitted after that date. 

To view a list of the optional modules available to you, please enter your Qualification Title and Year of Study onto the following screen and click 'Apply', to view the registration schedule for your programme of study.

Please note if you were manually registered for this academic year by Registry or you are trying to register for a module you previously cancelled, you will be unable to change your modules online.

Please click HERE to submit your module change request form and this will be processed in Registry for you. You must ensure when changing modules that you register for the same number of credits that you have cancelled.

Step 1:

Not all students can register from 15th August, to find out what date you can register from, check the Key Online Registration Dates here

Step 2:

Review the 'Checklist' and 'Important Note' below before proceeding to online registration:

 

Checklist:
  • Log on and register with your DCU username and password.
  • Check your registration schedule and make note of your optional modules, where a choice exists. (You will be directed to the registration schedule when you login. Use this as a guide for selecting your modules).
  • Check and update your PPSN, biographical and next of kin details online.
  • Click ‘I Accept’ to accept the rules and regulations of the University for the coming year.
  • Register online correctly for your qualification (programme of study) AND your modules.(Your confirmed module choices are listed in step 7 of the online registration process).
  • Pay your fees (Please note you are NOT registered by paying your fees only).

Important Notes:
Please note you must complete each step of the online registration process sequentially. 
Payment of fees is the last step of the registration process and payment of fees alone is not confirmation of registration.
Do not skip any steps.
