Non-EU applicants are required to pay the full fee for their programme within four weeks of the PAC offer date.
Please note acceptance of an offer will only be validated on receipt of payment.
Amount of Programme Fee
The amount of the fee payable is dependent on the programme. Please refer to the schedule of fee payments for Non-EU students.
Methods of Payment
Please choose from any of the following methods of payment:
- 1. By Bank Transfer
- Payment by bank transfer to the following account:

A copy of the receipt, together with the following details, (name, PAC Application Number and title of programme) should be posted to Student Fees, Finance Office, Dublin City University, Dublin 9.
The original receipt should be retained as applicants will be asked to produce this at registration. - 2. By Credit Card
- Contact our Finance Office at + 353-1-700 5153 or + 353-1-700 8302. All credit cards, except American Express are acceptable. The following details (name, PAC Application Number and title of programme) should be provided at the time of payment.
- 3. By Bank Draft
- Drafts should be made payable to "Dublin City University". The following details (name, PAC Application Number and title of programme) should be written on the back of the bank draft. The bank draft should be posted to Student Fees, Finance Office, Dublin City University, Dublin 9.
You should keep a copy of the bank draft for your own records.
Please note Drafts drawn on a non Irish Bank may incur additional charges.
Study Visas and Other Overseas Information
Information on the process for processing a study visa is available from the immigration section of the International Office website.
We would advise Non-EU applicants to contact the nearest Irish Embassy or Consulate to obtain information about other necessary documentation, as requirements may vary according from country to country. Further information on study visas is available from the Department of Foreign Affairs website.

Confirmation from DCU indicating that the applicant has accepted a place in DCU and has paid his/her full fees
A letter of confirmation, required by the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform, will be issued on request by the University.
Applicants requiring a VISA letter should e-mail the International Office indicating:
- The title of the programme offered
- The PAC Application Number
- The amount paid toward the fee and the method of payment
