The Roland MDX-40A CNC machine combines the advanced capabilities of subtractive prototyping with the ease-of-use of a benchtop CNC mill to provide a powerful 3D milling device. It will produce highly accurate microfluidic and prototype devices from a wide variety of materials with greater precision and excellent surface finish.

Microfluidic Disk cut using plotter cutter

The Epilog Zing16 can be used for patterning of various polymer substrates on a micron scale. The Graphtec CE6000-40 plotter-cutter is used for micro fabrication, nano fabrication, and precision cutting of pressure sensitive adhesive used in device bonding.
