Research Ireland Ulysses Scheme Successes for DCU
Congratulations to the two DCU researchers on being awarded the Research Ireland Ulysses 2024 call awards. The Ulysses scheme – named after James Joyce’s celebrated novel and highlighting the Joycean links between Ireland and France – aims to foster new collaborations by facilitating the exchange of innovative ideas and approaches between researchers based in Ireland and France, across all disciplines. Congratulations to both awardees!
- Dr Audrey Bryan (School of Human Development) will collaborate with Prof Éric Bruillard (Université Paris Cité) on a project entitled, “AIEd for Good? Critical Perspectives on Artificial Intelligence and Education."
- Dr Michael Hinds (School of English) will collaborate with Dr Juliette Utard (Sorbonne Université) on a project entitled, “Correspondences: Poetry and Intermediality." The project’s strategic funding partners include EirGrid and RTÉ.
ADHD Ireland Funding
Congratulations to Dr David McGovern and Dr Catherine Fassbender (School of Psychology) who have secured funding from ADHD Ireland. The project will involve a review of the current body of research on adult ADHD within workplace contexts, with particular emphasis on the challenges and opportunities encountered by both individuals and organisations and will inform the development of practical recommendations.
