The NIH is committed to advancing novel AI approaches that have the potential to accelerate research and improve the health of the public. As such, NIH is seeking input from the public on how to develop and share new generative AI tools while maintaining the highest privacy protections for biomedical research participants.
Comments on the RFI will be accepted until 16 July 2025, and must be submitted using the form found here.

The European Commission launched a Call for applications for the selection of members of the Expert Group on the Economic and Societal Impact of Innovation (ESIR4). The objective of the group is to provide policy advice to the Commission services on the forward-looking agenda around an entire range of EU policies. The Call for applications will be open until 15 July 2025, 11:00am.
The group will consist of up to 21 members, appointed in a personal capacity. It will focus on exploring the following subjects:

The ability of EU research and innovation policy to increase productivity, competitiveness and prosperity in the EU.

The capacity of Research and Innovation policies to support systemic transitions for sustainable, inclusive and prosperous societies acting in synergy with other EU policies.

In light of changing geopolitical dynamics, the experts shall examine how EU research and innovation policy can effectively contribute to strengthening European security & defence.

Contributing to mapping the development of emerging technologies and assessing their potential societal, economic, and environmental impacts.

Driving innovation in policymaking and strengthening the integration of scientific evidence and knowledge into the policymaking process.

The experts shall advise the Commission on creating the right conditions to attract top researchers and innovators to the EU, and deepening the collaboration between the EU and Member State levels.
The 2023-2025 MSCA Work Programme has been revised (version 14 May 2025) which contains 2025 call details and deadlines.
The main changes are:

Revision to MSCA and Citizens Call 2025: main change is the new ranking procedure to ensure broader and more balanced geographic coverage. This means that in order to achieve the widest geographical coverage with events and activities held in as many eligible countries as possible, grants will be awarded to applications not only in order of ranking but at least also to each application that is highest ranked per country based on where the coordinator is established, provided that the applications attain all thresholds.

The Call budgets for the MSCA Calls in 2025 have been revised.

The updated Work Programme also includes a €10 million allocation for MSCA4Ukraine.
