We are pleased to announce that the updated Code of Good Research Practice is now available online. The purpose of this document is to provide guidance in relation to good research practice and the responsibilities and requirements associated with this. The Code provides guidelines and advice on the proper conduct of research, standards of work performance and the ethical conduct required of all DCU staff and students and persons engaged in research at DCU.

- Pharmacology/ Pharmaceutical Medicine
- Public Health Medicine
- Radiology/ Radiation Oncology/ Radiation Therapy/ Medical Physics
With the current call for Expressions of Interest, the National Office aims to expand membership of the existing NRECs in Clinical Trials of Investigational Medicinal Products, Clinical Investigations of Medical Devices and Performance studies of In-Vitro Diagnostic Devices to enable Ireland meeting its regulatory requirements under the under existing and imminent EU regulations, including the Clinical Trial Regulation (EU No 536/2014), Medical Device Regulation (2017/745) and In-Vitro Diagnostic Device Regulation (2017/746).

The Research Project Administration (RPA) Team provides high quality, professional conference and event organisation services which are easily and readily accessible to academics and researchers across all DCU Campuses, Faculties, Schools and Research Centres.
The team successfully facilitated the hosting of a conference for the BeFore project which is an Erasmus+ project led by the DCU Anti-bullying Centre. The event was held at the HELIX on the 15th of March 2022 with a kick-off meeting on the 14th of March 2022.
The event which had over 60 attendees was launched by Mr. Michael McGeehin, Director of Sport Ireland Coaching and guest speakers included Dr Olivia Hurley, Lecturer / Assistant Professor of Psychology and Sport Psychology (IADT, Dun Laoghaire), Dr Hannah McCormack, Tackle Your Feelings Campaign Manager Rugby Players Ireland and Brenda O'Donnell, Strategic Operations Manager for Cara Sport Inclusion Ireland.
The project partners include University of Limerick, Universidad De Murcia Spain, Stiftelsen Friends Sweden, European Network of Sport Education Austria and Sport Ireland.
