The Cluster 2, “Culture, Creativity and Inclusive society” funding programme falls under the Pillar II (Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness) of the Horizon Europe Innovation and Research funding programme. Cluster 2 aims to meet EU goals and priorities on enhancing democratic governance and citizens participation, on the safeguarding and promotion of cultural heritage, and to respond to and shape multifaceted social, economic, technological and cultural transformations. Cluster 2 mobilises multidisciplinary expertise of European social sciences and humanities for understanding fundamental contemporary transformations of society, economy, politics and culture.
At this session the NCP for Cluster 2, Patrick Lansley, will be talking about the Cluster 2 funding structure and the topics in the forthcoming calls. Discussions will be facilitated on developing a successful Cluster 2 application, addressing the objectives of the specific topics and the composition of the consortium.
This will be an excellent opportunity to network with colleagues across the campus and also talk with the NCP face-to-face about your application.

COST Actions are a great way to connect with a network of European researchers with similar research interests. They can also be an excellent way to get involved in EU research funding proposals.
To get involved, you can request to join one of the currently active Actions, or you can submit a proposal for your own topic.
Please register here to join the Zoom webinar on 27th March 2024. The event will also be livestreamed on the COST YouTube channel.
