Tech Coalition Safe Online Research Fund Award

Congratulations to Dr Maggie Brennan, School of Psychology, on securing funding from the Global Partnership to End Violence Against Children/UNICEF via the Tech Coalition Safe Online Research Fund.  The project is titled "Understanding OSAEC* Trafficking in the Philippines: Analysis and Recommendations for better detection, deterrence and prevention."

The work will build on the unique insights being developed in the currently-funded project, which are paving the way for the creation of empirically driven initiatives to allow the financial, technological and civil sectors to better adapt and respond to the specific threat of OSAEC in the Philippines.  The DCU team, led by Dr Brennan, will work with partners in De La Salle University Manila, Philippines to deliver the project.
