Fiona Morrissey is the Primary Point of Contact for Research Support. She is the administrator for the Research Support Office and provides assistance to the Research Support team, the Vice President for Research and Innovation, the Director of Research Support.

Dr. Helen Burke is the Contact Point for the Faculty of Science and Health and associated Research Centres. She is the Call Manager for health and environment-related funders, including the Wellcome Trust, HRB, Irish Cancer Society, EPA, DAFM, Teagasc etc., as well as H2020 Societal Challenges in Health, Food/Agriculture and Climate.

David Fitzpatrick is the Contact Point for the Faculty of Engineering and Computing and associated Research Centres. He manages Enterprise Ireland funding calls, SFI Industry-related calls (TIDA, Industry Fellowships etc.) and H2020 Societal Challenge in Security, and FET and DG Connect (ICT).

Kieran O’Dwyer is the Contact Point for DCU Business School  and manages the legal agreements with Industry for collaborative and contract research, as well as EU consortium agreements. He is the call manager for all H2020 calls in the Industrial Leadership Pillar.

Dr. Katya McDonagh is the Contact Point for the Faculty of Engineering and Computing and associated Research Centres. She is the Call Manager for Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) and Sustainable Energy Authority Ireland (SEAI) calls, as well as H2020 FET, SC3 (Energy) and SC4 (Transport) Calls and relevant EU DG's and programmes.

Fiona Brennan is the Manager of Research Support Services. She is responsible for managing the research support team in order to effectively support the research community, and ensuring the delivery of research support services and policies which facilitate the implementation of the research strategy.  

Jane Carrigan

Dr. Jane Carrigan is a Research Officer in Research and Innovation Support. She is the Contact Point for staff in DCU's Institute of Education and associated Research Centres. Jane is also  the call manager for ERASMUS+, (research related actions including Key Actions 2 and 3), DG EACEA, EU Tenders, SFI Discover, IRC Laureate Programme, EU COST, Fulbright Commission, and ERC programmes, as well as Royal Irish Academy calls. She is based in DCU's St Patrick’s Campus and provides support for proposal development and funding diversification in the Institute.

Dr. Sally Smith is the Director of Research and supports the Vice-President for Research and Innovation with the development and implementation of the DCU Research Strategy and major research initiatives. She oversees the direction of the Research Support, STEP Research Administration and Research Infrastructure and Facilities teams, and the Strategic Partnerships Office.

Prof. Greg Hughes is the Vice-President for Research and Innovation. The VPRI is responsible for the ongoing advancement of the DCU’s research and innovation strategy, champions a culture of research and coordinates research initiatives within the university, and represents the university in its engagement with external bodies and funding agencies.
