Grant Writing Workshop Series

The Grant Writing Workshop Series provided by Research Development and Support is suitable for researchers of all disciplines (post-PhD) who are seeking to improve their grant writing skills and increase their competitiveness in research funding. This series consists of nine interactive online modules, each of which focuses on key sections of a typical grant application. The details and registration links for the remaining workshops in the 2025 series are included here below.

Preparing your Narrative CV for Research Grant Applications

Date & Time: Thursday 20th November 2025, 10:00-11:00,

Venue: Zoom. Please register for the workshop.

A polished and confident CV is an essential element of most research grant applications. Whether you are applying for a project grant or a career award, you will likely be assessed on your existing expertise and future potential. This workshop will explore common research grant requirements and how to frame your research experience in support of a research grant application. 

This workshop will be of particular relevance to researchers considering applying for Research Ireland Pathways Programme and Research Ireland Investigators Programme.
