In the new world of news, what sources can the public trust? How have digital advances and the expansion of social media impacted on trust in journalism? Is it possible for journalists to use social media to create content that benefits the public good and enhances our democracy? Leading media figures from the United States, the United Kingdom and Ireland will tackle these and other questions in this one-day symposium organised by Arizona State University and Dublin City University in conjunction with the New America Foundation.
