DCU H2020 Success to Date

DCU has had remarkable success in the first round of H2020 funding. We wish to congratulate all DCU researchers who have been involved in the successful applications to date. Funds coming directly to DCU from these EU awards now total over €7million.

Notably, the first H2020 research grant agreement was recently signed for the project EUROfusion. EUROfusion is a consortium of all national fusion research institutes across the European Union plus Switzerland. This programme will ensure significant progress along the path towards the realisation of fusion energy. The participating lab in Ireland for this is the Plasma Research Laboratory (PI - Prof Miles Turner) at DCU.
