President's Research Awards 2013/2014
The President's Research Award programme, which was originally established in 1998, rewards the outstanding achievements of researchers at DCU and the linked colleges. Two separate awards are made by the President each year on Research Day (Monday February 10th, 2014) - the first is for research in the Humanities and related areas, the second is for research in the Sciences, Engineering and related areas and the value of each award is €2,500.
The call for nominations for the 2014 President's Research Award is now open.
Please note that the call criteria and the nomination process are slightly different to previous years. Two letters of endorsement by appropriate nominators and a completed nomination template rather than other supporting material are required for this year’s competition.
Six hard copies of the required material should be submitted to Research and Innovation Support by 1pm on Friday, 10th January 2014. The successful candidates will be notified of the result by January 24th and asked to present a short lecture on the topic of his/her choosing during Research Day. Lectures are open to the public and the names of the award holders are entered in the roll of honour placed in the DCU Library.
