DCU VIP Terms and Conditions 

1. Open to students applying for college places through the Central Applications Office (“CAO”) Process in the Republic of Ireland.
2. Maximum one entry per person unless otherwise stated. Entries via agents or third parties or the use of multiple identities or multiple email addresses are not permitted.
3. Entries must be in video format and cannot exceed 2 minutes in length. 
4. Winner will be selected following the CAO application deadline 2020 and prior to the commencement of the academic year, beginning September 2020. 
5. Winner(s) must have completed the CAO application process,satisfy the minimum entry requirements and points requirements (or equivalent QQI for example) for their chosen programmeand have accepted a legitimate college place offer from DCU. Mature applicants applying through the CAO may also apply. 
6. DCU reserves the right to disqualify incomplete, corrupted, illegible or invalid entries.
7. DCU reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the promotion or extend or resume the entry period or disqualify any participant at any time without giving advance notice and will do so if it cannot be guaranteed that the promotion can be carried out fairly or correctly for technical, legal or other reasons or if DCU suspects that any person has been manipulating entries or the results or has acted unethically in any other way.
8. DCU reserves the right to alter, amend or foreclose the promotion without prior notice.
9. To enter you must register your personal details with us. Your personal details may be passed to our agents to administer the promotion. Personal details will only be used for marketing purposes if you have consented. And personal details will be kept for two months after the entry deadline of July 1st 2020.
10. If any prize cannot be distributed or is returned as undelivered DCU reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
11. If a prize is unclaimed after reasonable efforts have been made to contact the winner DCU will be entitled to dispose of the prize as it sees fit without any liability to the winner for doing so.
12. We will require a response before we award any prize and if no response has been received after we have made reasonable efforts to make contact; DCU reserves the right to select an alternative winner. DCU has no responsibility to anyone who has not responded.
13. No cash or other alternative prizes are available, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control DCU reserves the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value. Prizes cannot be transferred or sold by winners.
14. DCU has arranged this Promotion in good faith but, to the fullest extent allowed by law, accepts no responsibility for loss or damages as a result of anyone participating in the Promotion or any aspect of any prize awarded. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.
15. The winner(s) agree to take part in publicity in connection with the prize draw.
16. Winner(s) may be required to participate in reasonable related publicity without further payment or permission. DCU may publish first name, surname initial, age and/or town/city.
17. With your permission a video entry may be shown online and offline media, including social media. 
18. DCU’s decision is final and we reserve the right not to correspond on any matter.
19. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, Irish Law and the parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of  Ireland.
20. By entering this prize draw, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
