Why you chose to study in DCU?

I chose to study in DCU because I always had a connection with the college. Between hosting international students in my home and performing in the Helix, I was always around the Glasnevin Campus and it worked out perfectly that DCU also had a number of courses that I was really keen on.

One unique part about your course that you like

I like that you get to study a bit of everything when you do Business Studies. You don’t specialise until final year which means you get an insight into all aspects of business. Granted; you may not like some areas, but it’s still valuable to expand your knowledge in other areas.

Best thing about DCU experience so far

My work placement in third year. I learned so much while on my internship and I made some amazing friends during my time there.

Advice you would give to your younger self thinking of what to do/ where to go

Visit the campus. Try out the commute. Chat to current students!

There’s so much more to your college experience than just your course alone so make sure to explore all aspects of it!

Plans after DCU

I have no plans set in stone. My degree will allow me to work in a huge number of places/roles so at the moment I’m just focusing on making it through final year!
