Student Ambassador Team 2025-2026

The Student Ambassador Programme

The DCU Student Ambassador programme has been running for 20 years and is a core function of the Student Recruitment Office. We hire (yes, it's a paid position!) a team of 50 students each year to represent DCU and assist the office with student recruitment activities, like campus tours, school presentations, and most importantly, Open Days.

How does it work?

Student Ambassadors are trained in presentation and communication skills. They are required to represent DCU at Open Days and to give campus tours, and they are also offered a variety of other jobs, detailed below.

They are paid an hourly wage for the work they do, and 90% of the work offered is on campus.
